Mentoring

1 John 2:6  ESV

“Whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.”
Everyone who wants to follow Jesus must look to Jesus Himself.

Romans 8:29 ESV  

“For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.”
God’s goal for your life is to help become like Jesus.

1 Corinthians 11:1 ESV

Paul said .. “Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.”
God knows we need mentors as well as Jesus Christ Himself.

Find a mature Christian who exhibits the character of Jesus. They will be a person who is a sinner BUT filled with God’s grace.
